Today's recruiting profile focuses on one of the most up incoming prospects in the 2021 class. Jesuit (Tampa, Fla.) defensive back Jordan Young has had a stellar junior season so far for the Tigers.
Young has received a total of 10 offers so far through the early stages of his recruiting process. Young's offers come from Alabama, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Miami, Pittsburgh & USF.
Young, is listed as a 6'0, 185 pound defensive back & is a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com. Young is currently unranked in the 247Sports' composite rankings.
In 9 games this season, Young has racked up 27 total tackles (3 tackles/game). During the preseason, Young was ranked #64 in the Tampa Bay Times' Top 100 high school football players in the area.
Young, told 247Sports' John Garcia back in July that "Florida, Florida State & Miami are my leaders so far" through the recruiting process.
Young on his college decision. "I currently don't have an exact date set, but whenever I decide I wanna get better & help the program get better."
Young visited the University of Florida back in August. "I had a blast, Coach Mullen is a great guy & I like to think we had a good relationship." However, his teammate Jonathan Odom is a Florida commit, so Odom might push Young to join him in The Swamp.
