SEFFNER, Fla.- This week's recruiting profile kicks off at Armwood High School, the home of junior dual-threat quarterback Cam'ron Ransom. Ransom is a threat with both his arm & his legs, according to head coach Evan Davis.
Ransom, has received a total of six offers so far through his recruiting process from schools such as Boston College, Kentucky, Southern Miss, UCF, USF & Virginia Tech.
Ransom, is listed as a 6'3, 210 pound quarterback & is currently rated as a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com. Ransom is also the 14th ranked dual-threat quarterback in the nation, the 8th ranked dual-threat quarterback in the 2021 class & the 68th overall ranked prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.com.
So far in 8 games played this season, Ransom has completed nearly 51% of his passes, thrown for 872 passing yards, 10 touchdowns & has thrown 6 interceptions. Ransom also has 51 carries, for 152 rushing yards (3 yards/carry) & 3 rushing touchdowns this season.
Ransom has only taken one visit so far through his recruiting process & that was to Virginia Tech back in August. Ransom, on the Virginia Tech visit. "I'm just trying to find the one school that's for me."
Ransom, and the 8-1 Armwood Hawks will close out the regular season this Friday night at Gaither (9-0).
