One of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the state of Florida, has still remain undecided of his college future. Lakewood (St. Petersburg) quarterback Greg Spann has one of the biggest throwing arms in the Tampa Bay area.
Spann has received a total of 23 offers throughout his recruiting process so far from notable schools such as Duke, Illinois, Louisville, Ole Miss & UCF.
Spann is currently ranked the 25th best dual-threat quarterback in the nation & the 119th ranked prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.com
So far in 6 games, Spann has completed nearly 49% of his passes, has thrown for 715 passing yards, 12 touchdown passes & just 3 interceptions this season. Spann also has 51 carries, for 501 rushing yards & 6 rushing touchdowns this season.
In July, Spann cut his list of schools down to 6 (Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Louisville, Ole Miss & UCF). Spann said he is scheduled to make official visits to 5 of those 6 schools before deciding his future. Spann will likely take his official visits once his season concludes.
Spann is listed as a 6'4, 195 pound quarterback & a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com.
Spann & his Lakewood Spartans (6-0) will take the field on Friday night, as they host the Sebring Blue Streaks (4-2).
