On Monday afternoon, 4-star wide receiver James Blackstrain out of Holy Trinity Episcopal School in Melbourne, Florida revealed his top 10 schools on his Twitter account.
Blackstrain's Top 10 schools include Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, LSU, Nebraska, North Carolina, Syracuse, USF & Vanderbilt. Blackstrain is rated as the 34th best wide receiver in the nation & the 27th ranked prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.com.
Blackstrain has received a total of 30 offers throughout his recruiting process from notable schools such as Baylor, Bethune-Cookman, Bowling Green, Duke, Florida Atlantic, Fordham, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kentucky, Middle Tennessee, Ohio & several others.
Blackstrain, is listed as a 6'2, 180 pound wide receiver & is currently the 245th overall ranked prospect in the nation, according to 247Sports.com.
Blackstrain has taken five unofficial visits so far throughout his recruiting process to Florida, Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee & most recently in September he took an unofficial visit to Clemson. Blackstrain, on his LSU visit. "I had a great visit, the coaching staff was great & I will be back for sure."
Blackstrain has not set an official leader of target schools or set a commitment date, but expect it to hear more on that as he starts his senior season or close to signing day in 2021.
