Last night, the recruiting tour made a stop at Clearwater Academy, the home of senior tight end Wesley Bailey, sophomore quarterback Luca Stanzani, senior wide receiver Ajou Ajou (Clemson commit), senior running back Ludovick Choquette & several other Canadian-born football players.
Senior tight end/defensive end Wesley Bailey is in his first season playing at Clearwater Academy, after spending his first three seasons up in Canada. Bailey said on what it's like playing in the states, "I've enjoyed it, I really like playing under Coach Jesse & Coach Feldman."The style of play here is different than in Canada, the field is shorter & less wider", Bailey added.
Bailey, is listed as a 6'5, 225 pound defensive end/tight end, and is listed as a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com. Over the last week or so, Bailey has received offers from Illinois, UCF & Eastern Michigan.
Over the course of his recruiting process, Bailey has received a total of 8 offers from notable schools such as Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, Kent State, Penn State & Western Michigan.
Bailey has not scheduled any visits or set a commitment date, but he said he is expected to make those decisions after his season ends.
Clearwater Academy (4-1) will make the cross-state trip tomorrow to Atlantic High School in Delray, to take on the 3-1 Atlantic Eagles.
