Today, we wrap up the week with a recruiting profile on one of the rising prospects in the 2021 class. Palm Beach Gardens Benjamin pro-style quarterback Santino Marucci is having a stellar junior season.
So far in 2019, Marucci has thrown for 725 passing yards, 9 touchdown passes & has only thrown one interception for the 4-1 Benjamin Buccaneers. Marucci also has 23 carries, for 141 rushing yards & has 5 rushing touchdowns as well.
Marucci has received 6 scholarship offers & a total of 13 schools have taken interest in him. Marucci has received offers from notable schools such as Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Kent State, Kentucky, Nebraska & Wake Forest. Schools who have declared interest in him are Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Miami, NC State, Ohio State, UCF & West Virginia.
Marucci visited with Nebraska back in June, where told 247Sports.com's Steve Wiltfong, "I really enjoyed the visit, the coaches & staff were great."
Marucci, is listed as a 6'1, 190 pound quarterback & is a 3-star prospect, according to 247Sports.com. Marucci is ranked the 19th best pro-style quarterback in the nation & the 64th overall ranked prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.com.
Marucci has not scheduled any future visits with the schools that have taken interest in him, or set a commitment date.
