Welcome to the final month of the high school girls soccer regular season here in the state of Florida. Our local teams are entering the final few weeks until district tournament play kicks off. Here are this week's rankings, so find out where your team is ranked below.
1. Plant (9-0-0)

This Week: @ Riverview (Wed.), @ Palm Harbor University (Fri.)
The Plant Lady Panthers remain the #1 team in the Tampa Bay area, as we enter the new year. The Lady Panthers have not played since defeating Sickles, 3-2 back on December 11. Junior Quinn Ryan leads the team with 12 goals scored this season. The Lady Panthers are back in action tomorrow night, as they travel to Riverview High School.
2. Palm Harbor University (9-1-1)

This Week: @ Countryside (Wed.), vs Plant (Fri.)
The Palm Harbor University Lady Hurricanes are ranked #2 in the Tampa Bay area, as we enter the new year. The Lady Hurricanes have not conceded a goal in each of their last three games. Junior Camryn Boyette leads the team with 12 goals scored this season. Palm Harbor University will be back in action tomorrow night, as they travel to Countryside High School.
3. Academy of the Holy Names (9-1-0)

This Week: @ Tampa Catholic (Wed.)
The Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars come into this week as the #8 team in the nation, according to MaxPreps & FloSoccer.com. The Lady Jaguars have won eight straight games, dating back to their only loss of the season back on November 15. Senior Madison Kurtz leads the team with 12 goals scored this season.
4. Newsome (7-1-1)
Last Week: Lost to Steinbrenner 0-0 (PK's), Defeated Land O'Lakes 2-0
This Week: vs Plant City (Wed.), @ Bloomingdale (Fri.)
The Newsome Wolves check in at #4 in this week's rankings, as we enter the new year. The Lady Wolves were one of few teams who played over the holiday break, as they went 1-1 in the Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational. The Lady Wolves will be back in action tomorrow night, as they host Plant City.
5. Wiregrass Ranch (8-1-1)
Last Week: Defeated Calvary Christian 1-0
This Week: vs Leto (Wed.), @ Land O'Lakes (Fri.)
The Wiregrass Ranch Lady Bulls come into the new year on a three-game winning streak. Senior Avery Damjanovic leads the team with 17 goals scored this season. The Lady Bulls will be back in action tomorrow night, as they host Leto High School.
6. Shorecrest Prep (4-0-2)

This Week: @ St. Petersburg Catholic (Tues.), vs Berkeley Prep (Thu.)
The Shorecrest Prep Lady Chargers enter the rankings for the first time this season, as they check in at #6 in the Tampa Bay area. The Lady Chargers last played on December 10, where they had a 1-1 draw vs Northeast. The Lady Chargers are back in action tonight, as they travel to St. Petersburg Catholic.
7. Nature Coast Tech (14-1-0)

This Week: @ Brooksville Central (Wed.), @ Weeki Wachee (Fri.)
The Nature Coast Tech Lady Sharks check in at #7 in this week's rankings, as we enter the new year. The Lady Sharks have not conceded a goal in each of their last two games, outscoring their opponents 10-0. Sophomore Kennedy Weissman leads the team & state, with 47 goals scored this season. The Lady Sharks start a two-game away stretch tomorrow night at Brooksville Central.
8. Land O'Lakes (8-3-0)
Last Week: Lost to Steinbrenner 2-1, Lost to Newsome 2-0
This Week: vs Zephyrhills (Tues.), vs Wiregrass Ranch (Fri.)
The Land O'Lakes Lady Gators check in at #8 in this week's Tampa Bay area girls soccer rankings. The Lady Gators went 0-2 in last week's Tampa Bay Christmas Invitational. Freshman Jordan Green leads the team with 13 goals scored this season. The Lady Gators are back in action tonight, as they host Zephyrhills.
9. Berkeley Prep (10-2-1)
Last Week: No games scheduled
This Week: @ All Saints' Academy (Tues.), @ Shorecrest Prep (Thu.), @ Tampa Prep (Sat.)
The Berkeley Prep Lady Buccaneers are back in action tonight, as they travel to All Saints' Academy to kick off the first of five straight away matches. The Lady Buccaneers are averaging 3.8 goals per game this season. Sophomore Emma Watson leads the team with 14 goals scored this season.
10. East Lake (9-2-0)

This Week: vs Lakewood (Tues.), vs Largo (Wed.), @ Calvary Christian (Fri.)
The East Lake Lady Eagles check in at #10 in this week's Tampa Bay girls soccer rankings as we kick off the new year. The Lady Eagles have won seven straight games, dating back to November 18. Junior Madison Paster leads the team with 12 goals scored this season. The Lady Eagles will be back in action tonight, as they host Lakewood High School.
