Tampa Bay High School Top 10 Girls Soccer Rankings (Week 6)

We are officially at the midway point of the high school girls soccer season, across the Tampa Bay area & the state of Florida. However, this will be our final rankings reveal until after the holiday break. Rankings will resume on Tuesday, January 7. Find out where your team is ranked below. Hope you have a safe & happy holidays, along with a Happy New Year.


1. Plant (11-0-0)

Last Week: Defeated Sickles 3-2

This Week: No games scheduled


The Plant Lady Panthers will take the week off this week, as they go into the holiday break with an undefeated 11-0-0 mark. Sophomore Kallyn McKinney (2 goals) & junior Quinn Ryan (1 goal), was the scoring in their 3-2 win over Sickles last week. The Lady Panthers will return to action on January 8 @ Riverview.


2. Academy of the Holy Names (8-2-0)

Last Week: Defeated Tampa Prep 8-0 & Defeated Clearwater Central Catholic (Forfeit)

This Week: vs McKeel Academy (Thu.)


The Academy of the Holy Names Jaguars come into this week, as the #2 team in the Tampa Bay area. The Lady Jaguars come into this week, on a seven-game winning streak. The Lady Jaguars will be back in action on Thursday night, as they host McKeel Academy. Senior Madison Kurtz leads the team with 12 goals scored this season.


3. Newsome (6-0-1)

Last Week: Defeated Lennard 6-0 & Defeated Wharton 8-0

This Week: No games scheduled


The Newsome Wolves check in, at #3 in this week's Tampa Bay girls soccer rankings & are coming off a 2-0 week, with wins over Lennard & Wharton. The Newsome Wolves have conceded a total of just four goals, in their seven matches this season. Newsome will be back in action on January 8 vs Plant City.


4. Palm Harbor University (10-1-0)

Last Week: Defeated Clearwater Central Catholic 3-0, Defeated Alonso 2-0 & Defeated Venice (Forfeit)

This Week: @ St. Petersburg (Fri.)


The Palm Harbor University Lady Hurricanes are coming off a 3-0 week, where they didn't concede a goal in either game. The Lady Hurricanes are one of few teams in the Tampa Bay area, that are playing this week as they prepare for St. Petersburg on Friday night. Junior Camryn Boyette leads the team with 12 goals scored this season.


5. Nature Coast Tech (12-1-0)

Last Week: Defeated Citrus 6-1, Defeated Springstead 3-0

This Week: Lost to Lecanto 7-1 (Mon.), @ Pasco (Wed.), @ Crystal River (Fri.)


The Nature Coast Tech Lady Sharks are coming off a 2-0 week, with wins over Citrus & Springstead. However, the Sharks suffered their first loss of the season last night, 7-1 over Lecanto. Sophomore Kennedy Weissman had the lone goal for the Sharks last night. They will be back in action, tomorrow night at Pasco High School.


6. Land O'Lakes (7-1-0)

Last Week: Defeated Cypress Creek 5-2 & Defeated Lecanto 2-0

This Week: vs Wesley Chapel (Wed.)


The Land O'Lakes Lady Gators come into this week, ranked #6 in the Tampa Bay area. Land O'Lakes will be playing #7 Wesley Chapel tomorrow night, in their last game until after the holiday break. Freshman Jordan Green leads the team, with 11 goals scored this season.


7. Wesley Chapel (10-1-0)

Last Week: Defeated Sunlake 3-1, Lost to Wiregrass Ranch 1-0 & Defeated Fivay 2-0

This Week: Defeated Zephyrhills 7-0 (Mon.), @ Land O'Lakes (Wed.), @ Anclote (Fri.)


The Wesley Chapel Lady Wildcats come into this week, ranked #7 in the Tampa Bay area. Wesley Chapel is coming off a 2-1-0 week, with wins over Sunlake & Fivay, while sustaining a 1-0 loss to rival Wiregrass Ranch. Freshman Amaris Hamilton-Grein leads the team with 21 goals scored this season.


8. Wiregrass Ranch (7-1-1)

Last Week: Lost to Steinbrenner 3-2, Defeated Wesley Chapel 1-0 & Defeated River Ridge 4-3

This Week: @ Sunlake (Tues.)


The Wiregrass Ranch Bulls are coming off a 2-1 week last week, with wins over Wesley Chapel & River Ridge. Wiregrass Ranch will travel to Sunlake in their last game before they hit the holiday break. Senior Avery Damjanovic leads the team with 17 goals scored this season.


9. Sickles (6-1-0)

Last Week: Lost to Plant 3-2 & Defeated Riverview 1-0

This Week: @ King (Fri.)


Welcome to the rankings for the first time this season, the Sickles Lady Gryphons who check in at #9. The Lady Gryphons have only conceded a total of just eight goals all season. Freshman Reagan Wilson leads the team with eight goals scored this season. Sickles will wrap up the week, with a game on Friday night at King High School.


10. East Lake (10-2-0)

Last Week: Defeated Tarpon Springs 4-1 & Defeated Fivay 5-0

This Week: Defeated Seminole 4-0 (Mon.), @ Countryside (Fri.)


The East Lake Eagles come into this week at #10 in the Tampa Bay area, and are currently on a six-game winning streak. The Lady Eagles have not conceded a goal in each of their last two games. Junior Madison Paster leads the team with 11 goals scored this season. East Lake will be back in action, on Friday night as they travel to Countryside High School.
