LUTZ, Fla.- The Steinbrenner Warriors football team is off to their first 5-0 start in five seasons. "This team is different compared to that 2015 season", said head football coach Andres Perez-Reinaldo.

The Warriors have been led by senior quarterback & FIU commit Haden Carlson, alongside junior running back Deon Silas, senior wide receiver Aidan Bitter (Iowa State commit) & senior wide receiver Dean Patterson.

In the Warriors' first five games of the season, they have allowed an average of 8.6 points per game, which is the best in District 8A-7, that includes a Plant squad, who Steinbrenner plays on Friday night at Dad's Stadium in Tampa.

Haden Carlson, the son of former NFL quarterback Jeff Carlson on this season's goals. "Our goal is to get to the state championship, I would like to graduate with a championship ring on my finger." "But we have a lot to take care of, before we can get there first", Carlson added.
