On Monday afternoon, the UCF men's basketball team landed their 2nd commit for the Class of 2020. Paxon (Jacksonville) small forward Isaiah Adams announced via Twitter, he is heading to the University of Central Florida. Adams chose UCF over Arkansas, Florida Atlantic, Iowa State, UMass, North Florida & several others.
Adams, joins Lakewood (St. Petersburg) power forward Jamille Reynolds as UCF's 2020 commits for the men's basketball program so far, as Reynolds announced his commitment last month.
Adams is ranked the 56th best small forward in the nation & 23rd best small forward in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports. Adams visited with UCF last week & says, "I enjoyed the visit, the coaches were great hosts & love the campus", Adams added.
Adams averaged 19.6 points per game & 10.8 rebounds per game for Paxon last season & led the Golden Eagles to the Class 6A state semifinals, before losing to Lakewood 61-49.
Adams also plays on Team Parsons in the travel ball circuit, where he is coached by head coach Jemel Daniels.
