PORT ORANGE, Fla.- Just a little less than 24 hours after Lakeland offensive lineman Willie Lampkin committed to Coastal Carolina, the Chanticleers receive their 3rd commit for the class of 2020 from the Sunshine State.
Campbell chose Coastal Carolina over Appalachian State, Bethune-Cookman, FIU, Indiana, Troy, Tulane & Wake Forest. Campbell visited with Coastal Carolina a few days ago & says "I fell in love with the coaches & the campus as soon as I stepped my foot in the door." Campbell is a 3-star prospect according to 247Sports & took his only visit to Coastal Carolina.
Campbell is ranked the 285th highest wide receiver prospect in the nation & the 304th ranked prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports. Campbell is in his 2nd season playing for Atlantic, after spending his freshman & sophomore seasons playing at Spruce Creek. Campbell joins Lake Nona defensive back Manny Stokes as class of 2020 commits that are from the central Florida area.
Campbell was recruited to join Coastal Carolina by head football coach Jamey Chadwell, along with linebackers coach Chad Staggs, quarterbacks coach Willy Korn & wide receivers coach Joey King.
