LAKELAND, Fla.- One of the highest uprising prospects in the class of 2021, comes from the Polk County area, as Lakeland Christian (Fla.) standout defensive end Cade Denhoff is quickly rising as a top prospect.
Denhoff has received a total of 24 offers throughout his recruiting process from notable schools such as Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois & several others. Denhoff is ranked the 4th highest strong defensive end in the nation, along with the 11th best prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports.
Denhoff is coming off a stellar 2018 season, where he had 95 total tackles & recorded 6.5 sacks & led the Vikings to a 6-5 record. So far in 2019, Denhoff has just played in 1 game, where he recorded 11 tackles in the August 23 game vs Oasis.
Denhoff, is listed as a 6'5, 235 pound prospect, took an unofficial visit to Notre Dame back in June, where he says "I learned a lot of stuff, especially from the coaches". Denhoff competed at the Alabama, Clemson & Florida team camps over the summer & is continuing to grow as a prospect.
Lakeland Christian head coach Danny Williams, on Cade Denhoff. "He is the anchor of our defense, he is a good vocal leader, he does exactly what we tell him to do."
However, there is an unknown date for any future visits or a college commitment announcement for Denhoff.
