SEFFNER, Fla.- Today's recruiting profile takes us back out to Seffner, Florida, the home of Armwood's wide receiver dynamic duo between Agiye Hall & Charles Montgomery. Montgomery, is in his first season playing at Armwood after spending his first two seasons playing at Bloomingdale.
Montgomery currently holds 10 division one offers from schools such as Alabama, Bowling Green, FIU, Iowa State, Maryland, Ohio State, South Carolina, Southern Miss, UCF & West Virginia. Montgomery is listed as a 5'10, 185 pound athlete, where you can see him lineup as a wide receiver or on special teams.
Montgomery, is listed as a 4-star prospect, where he is also ranked the 23rd best athlete in the nation & the 37th best prospect in the state of Florida, according to 247Sports. Montgomery has not scheduled any visits, but tells me he is experiencing "high interest" from Ohio State, where former Armwood running back Brian Snead committed back in 2018.
So far in 2019, Montgomery has 12 catches, for 251 receiving yards & 4 receiving touchdowns in 3 games. Montgomery also has 11 carries, for 44 rushing yards & has a rushing touchdown this season.
Montgomery has also announced his commitment date for May 24, 2020, but has not narrowed down any of his choices yet.
