On Wednesday afternoon, former Treasure Coast head baseball coach Mike Sindone announced via Twitter, that he is accepting a new role. That new role will be at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida just 20 minutes northeast of Orlando.
Sindone spent the previous 5 seasons coaching at Treasure Coast, where he led the Titans to a 72-44 overall record from 2015 to 2019. Sindone is also the head coach at Florida Travel Baseball (FTB), which is one of the premier travel baseball teams in the state.
Sindone, is a St. Lucie West Centennial alum where he led the Eagles to the final four in 2002, before he went on to UCF.
Hagerty's previous coach Matt Cleveland resigned following this past season, after leading the Huskies to a 23-5 season in 2019. Although Sindone is expected to keep coaching FTB despite handling the duties in Oviedo replacing Cleveland.
