Clearwater Academy (Fla.) 2021 running back Brendon Barrow is adjusting to his new coaches & teammates very quickly. Barrow has already received 5 offers from Arkansas Pine-Bluff, Central Michigan, Coastal Carolina, Dartmouth & Kent State. Expect Barrow to get some Power 5 offers by the time his senior year rolls around.
This is Barrow's first season playing at Clearwater Academy, after playing his first 2 seasons up in Canada. Barrow competed at The Opening in Nashville back in the spring, where he ran a 4.48 40-yard dash & had a 4.02 shuttle run. "I knew what we were getting in him, when he arrived to Clearwater", head coach Jesse Chinchar said.
Barrow, is just one of several Canadians that have came to play for Clearwater Academy & have eventually gone up to play at the division one level, with most recent players including wide receiver Jared Wayne (Pittsburgh), defensive lineman Sio Nofoagatoto’a (Indiana), Ajou Ajou (Clemson) & among others.
However, Canada is not Barrow's first stop among places he's played football at, as he was born in Dallas & also moved to Los Angeles when he was two.
