On Wednesday night, another Armwood Hawk is committed to a division one school. Armwood offensive lineman Jeff Miller announced via Twitter, he has committed to Georgia State. Miller chose Georgia State over Appalachian State, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Campbell, Eastern Michigan, FIU & Tennessee State.
Miller has played on the Armwood varsity team under head coach Evan Davis for the past 3 seasons. Miller is listed as a 6'3, 280 pound prospect & is the 7th commit for Georgia State in the Class of 2020 & the 3rd to come from the Sunshine State, joining Trinity Christian defensive back Donald Clea & Palm Beach Lakes defensive back Jeshon Ingraham.
Georgia State has only been playing football at the division one level since 2009 & have reached a bowl in 2 of the previous 10 seasons.
Coming into the 2019 season, Miller is ranked the 71st best player in the Tampa Bay area, according to the Tampa Bay Times Top 100 players in the area.
