TOWN N'COUNTRY- Tonight, I saw one of the most dynamic linebackers, pass rushers in not just the Tampa Bay area, but maybe in the whole state of Florida. Berkeley Prep senior linebacker Jaylen Harrell surely did not disappoint on the defensive side of the ball.
Harrell, also had a rushing touchdown tonight on a 13 yard run, that gave Berkeley Prep a 14-0 lead, near the midway point of the first quarter.
Harrell is currently experiencing "high interest" from Florida State, Miami & Michigan & he told me following tonight's 21-16 win over Tampa Catholic, he is scheduled to visit with Michigan (October 26) & Miami (December 13).
Harrell, has received a total of 23 offers throughout his recruiting process from schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida Atlantic, Georgia & several others.
Coming off a 2018 season, where Harrell had 106 total tackles with 20 tackles for loss, this season Harrell has just 12 total tackles & recorded a sack in tonight's win over Tampa Catholic.
Harrell has not set a commitment date, but expect it to be close to National Signing Day in February.
